Here's the problem.
When i do that, i see my buddy list window, plus jabber, and
bonjour. I'm trying to figure out how to not make jabber and bonjour
come up.
Then i tried to quit ichat, and it said i had unread messages. The
issues was when i hit command accent, i didn't see any messages.
Any thoughts?
Command is right next to the space bar, right?

If you mean with conversations, you can use command accent or
command right and left brace.
