Even though it's a slightly moot point now, your Mac will update the time according to DST rules in your regional area when it syncs with apple's (or some other) time server using NTP. So whether or not the computer was running at the time of the switch is irrelevant, and if it's not synced yet it will be when it syncs soon, but if you haven't gotten it to update time automatically you'll have to do so manually.
