I have been attempting to locate a file that I deleted from my machine
and from trash, just to make sure it's gone.
If I manually navigate to the Timemachine Backups and look around I
can find the file I want to recover.
However, following the timemachine Help Instructions, I cant get it to
work.
So after pokeing around a while, I decided to try using the
Timemachine Quicklook pannel to locate the file. This is done by first
being in the folder where the file was located before it got deleted
or lost. For example documents. Next, clicking on Timemachine in the
Doc or in Applications. Then at this point you should be able to do a
search for the file you want. Then located on the right side of the
screen should be a list of bacups. Then after locating the file, you
should be able to restore it to where it was to start with.
So Far, no go.
But, I'll keep at it for a while.
