I'm about to purchase an imac from them. All the additional items they
offer as an incentive bundle, including shipping, plus a small discount on
the computer price come as rebates.
Has anyone had experience with getting rebates from them and any other
areas of difficulty when dealing with them? The rebate bundle is complex
and must be done in a short window of time and presents many chances to
have problems following the steps.
Retailers each year earn a good chunck of profit on rebates because many
people don't send them in or never get them redeemed or don't exactly
follow instructions. One wishes they would just discount the darn stuff
instead of taking this backdoor approach to extra profit.
