Boot Camp and Windows instillation

Listers I am about to install Windows using Boot Camp then on to  
Fusion. In regards to Boot Camp does anyone have any do's and don'ts  
for installing XP on Boot Camp. I don't want to use up allot of HD  
space, so how do I get started?
