Hot Spots Question

Can you have up to nine hot spots per application, or nine total open  
at a time?  I now have three--very useful to watch the import button,  
and to watch import progress in iTunes, as well as watching that area  
in iTunes which tells me how many more files I have to import, Imean  
convert.  The only thing that's kind of frustrating is that it pops me  
into the window--and I guess I was just hoping to hear the information  
without being put in the window.  I figured I could manually switch if  
I wanted.  But otherwise I think it's a cool feature.  Ande kind of  
fitting--hot spots--for Leopard.
