There is a simple way to do this. When you unpack your book you will be given an option to save it ans an HTML file as well as DAISY. Choose HTML and then read it with a web browser.

I am interested in reading bookshare.org books with my Mac, especially giving the new Alex voice. Google though I might, I've only come across one daisy player, Katieplayer. I certainly don't mind buying Katieplayer, but am wondering what other methods others are using to access bookshare materials? My only other thought was to load the html version of a book into Safari, copy/paste it into Text edit and read from there. I could then make up some series of characters to use as a bookmark. There's got to be an easier way though.

Any thoughts/suggestions greatly appreciated. I apologize if this topic has come up on this list -- I vaguely remember seeing a bookshare thread a while back, but can't locate it no matter what I try.
Thanks,

Steve
