I just did some online shopping from the store. I was able to
complete the purhcase, but c'mon, Apple, label the button to pay!
And, if y ou are going to have a button where you can charge an amount
to two credit cards, label that *clearly*. *shakes head*

Yes, that was why I'd mentioned that I can see it would be useful

many times where neither have worked. Go figure!...

so, tab to an image, try vo-h and you should hear: "there is no
help tag for
this item". Then, try vo-shift-u and you should hear an url.

interesting, I've tried both of them over the last couple of weeks
since learning of VO shift U and they've both given me identical
info. -Strange... <smile>
yes H is still listed and I actually can't find a listing for shift
U. Where is it listed for you?...

I wish it did but whenever I use it on a web site, I am told that
there is no help tag for this item but everrytime I use vo-shift-u I
get something. Also, it's the keystroke listed for this activity in
vo help. vo-h still works in dialogs et al though.

Hello,
Apple's web site has never had the best web site in my opinion.
However, having said that, it's a lot better than it was a few
years
ago. But still, they do need to do something about all the
clickable
graphics. One little suggestion I have is this and it might help a
little.
When at a link that says Graphic, use VO H and see if it gives you
enough information to help you out with what the graphic link is
probably for. Sometimes this works, but not all the time.

I jsut have one question: Why doesn't Apple alt-tag their
images so
we can tell what they are? I wa slooking for something in the
Apple
Store, the online one, and before I could even consider getting
it,
I had to select a model. I could not tell which model to select,
because all it said was "image" or something. I had to go into
iChat and get a sighted friend to assist. Very frustrating. I
didn't know if I should email this to the Accessibility Team or
not. I was looking at iPod Shuffles, if you are curious.
