Yup, maybe it is a Leopard thing because when my computer went to sleep on Tiger I could wake it and the sound would still come through the headset. Go figure. Have you been on the Mac for a long time? The reason I ask is because you are very resourceful and informative.

Hi Shaun,

I don't know how to make the Mac auto-detect your USB headset again
after it goes to sleep, but you can reset this by selecting the sound output
device under your Systems Preferences in Sound under the Output tab.

Listers where do I find the setting for when I plug in USB devices at?
My computer goes to sleep and when I wake it I have to unplug my USB
headset to hear audio but when I put it back in the sound reverts back
to the headset. I think the allow USB devices to wake this system is
the option I need for this but I am not sure as to how to find it.
Thanks
