Hello Christian,
I wonder if you pressed Control-Option-semicolon by accident. It locks
the Control and Option keys. You press it again to unlock them. Also,
what keyboard layout are you using? If it's German, you could have a
problem. I haven't tried the German layout myself, but I know there
are some anomalies with the French layout as I do use that one some
times.
