Subject: K3000-Mac: Unpacking Bookshare Files

Hi,

I have run into a problem that I am unable to resolve and am turning to
the list for help. Please note, this probably is NOT directly a Kurzweil
3000 problem. However, figuring some of you may have crossed the hurdle
in the past, I turn to your extensive expertise for assistance.

The problem:

Customer is using Kurzweil 3000 for Macintosh. She has a membership for
use of downloaded files from Bookshare.org to use with her ELL and LD
child. She has downloaded both the 'Unpack' utility and 'Stuff It'
utility for use with Macintosh. Knowing that Kurzweil 3000 for Macintosh
does not allow a direct download of files, she has gone to Bookshare.org
directly to obtain her material. However, when she uses the 'Unpack'
utility for the files, they do not seem to actually unpack.

Thank you,
Roger
