Hi, all.

As a longtime Quicksilver user, I have absolutely no idea what I'd do without it anymore. Admittedly, if you *only* need an application launcher, I'd say don't bother, since Spotlight does the job pretty nicely these days.

The thing for me about QS is that, appart from the previously mentioned doing things to files point, it's the fact that it also does keyboard shortcuts that I like.

I've added a whole raft of features to the finder, for example, by writing a bunch of 3 or 4 line scripts and creating shortcuts in Quicksilver to use them.

The only thing I'd say is, for a really new Voiceover user, it might be a bit of a pain, and it takes some work before it's really automatic and easy to use. Leopard has an advantage over Tiger, in that you can put your cursor on the bit near the execute button and read what you're doing in QS as you're doing it, if you turn off cursor tracking, which I'd imagine while you're learning will be a godsend.

I posted a message on this list ages ago about how I use QS and what I use it for, along with some basic instructions for using it under Tiger which you can try to search for. If anyone's interested in a repost, I can do that, too.
