Hi My name is doug and I'm new to the list and have a few questions.
I have just recently suffered a visually impairment and I'm going to
school to learn Jaws but at home I only use Mac OS 10.4 and use the
built in screen magnifier but I would like to use VoiceOver to read
books. Can some one help me translate from jaws to voiceover.
1 how do I read a book starting from the beginning and pause midway
through and take up from the place I stopped on the next day. I try
to get book files that are broken up into chapters but many have the
book all in one file.
2 while I'm reading I want to speed up the rate on the fly.
It is impossible to get the computer lab at school to help me because
the guy that runs it hates Apple.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
