Aha, I think thats the problem. I'm running the previous version that was
linked to the other day, because I couldn't figure out how to get the 3.5.5
version past the inaccessible first screen. Like the other chap who posted
earlier, I only have a few launches left. Presumably if I keep an eye on
the other thread I can find out how to do that and then obtain the list of
shortcuts like you said.
Cheers... my bad for not saying the version...
Scott

Hey Scott. Just to make sure we're on the same page here, are you
running the latest version of sound studio? This is version 3.5.5.

Darcy - thanks for the tip about enter and return, i'd have missed it no

Ok, maybe i'm being dim, but i seriously don't see a link for keyboard
shortcuts in the TOC frame. It takes me through each item in each menu,
couple of bits about what's been updated etc at the top, and that's all.
I've been through it a couple of times, tried a VO find for it, even
been through the 96 items in the item chooser just in case, and I can't
figure out what I'm missing!
Anyone know where i'm going wrong?

Hi Scott. Actually, there is a keyboard shortcut section in help, but
the help in that program is a little weird. When you interact with
the html area of the help window, you see two frames. Interact with
the toc frame, and if you move through that, you'll find a link for
keyboard shortcuts. The list is arranged a bit strangely however, so
you may have to read through it a couple of times.
Here are a couple of things to keep in mind when using sound studio.
First off, you'll want to disable cursor tracking when in editing
windows. The arrow keys won't work otherwise. Second, keep in mind
that in the keyboard shortcut list, when it says enter to place a
marker, it actually means the enter key, and not the return key. You
don't often see these keys have different functions, but in this case,
they do.

Hi Folks, not sure if this would be better placed on the pro audio
list, but if so feel free to berate me.
Just downloaded sound studio and had a tinker. So far so good in
terms of navigating round the various windows within the program, and
i liked that we can read input levels easily. The biggest problem
I've got now is finding out about the keyboard shortcuts for it. Is
there a list anywhere? Had a look through the help and even asked
google, but my search was fruitless. I'm after things like the
shortcuts to skip back and forth through a file, jump from marker to
marker, control selections and whatnot, so if anybody could give me a
nudge in the right direction that would be cool.
Oh one more thing, can sound studio multitrack? I saw a command to
add and remove tracks, but it didn't seem to do much, and the
description on the felt tip site features list was oddly worded, made
me wonder if it was some sort of bodgy take on multitracking.
Thanks in advance...
