I Tunes still busy

I can't live without my pod-cast. My I Tunes application has been busy  
for 15 hours or so. I have tried the following to correct this issue.  
I have deleted all entries of I Tunes in the Library. I have shutdown  
sharing. I have left it busy for hours to see if it fixes itself and I  
have forced quit the program. All of these attempts have been done  
multiple times to no avail. I sent this message to both list because I  
desperately need some results. I can't figure out what is causing the  
constant busyness accept maybe when the pod-casts may be updating or  
something. I have a total of 18 pod-cast and 1 album in my I Tunes  
library. Can someone please help asap.
