1. Get his apple ID and password.
2. Load the music to your computer (add to library or whatever way you want to bring it in)
3. Click on one of his tracks.
4. Enter the Aple ID and password he used to purchase.

Apple allows someone to play tracks on 5 authroized computers now I believe. If he's used all of these he will need to deauthorize one of the computers for you to play the songs. If he's showing all 5 authorizations in use but he's not using 5 computers, there is a setting in iTunes that he can deauthroize all computers and start over. Apple lets you do this once per year if I reall.

I gave Eric a $50 card to spend at the iTunes store. Is it possible for me to play iTunes tracks that he purches on his computer? If so what do I need to do to make this happen?

I mean playing them on my computer.
