Dear Jed,

I've also been asking questions regarding Office for Mac, and one of the listers at least, Frank, has explained that Office for Mac as well as a number of other word processing packages including the ones you mentioned, do not work with Voiceover as they do not properly interact with Voiceover cursor.

Frank tells me that Nisus Writer is largely accessible. I've been on Nisus website and have done some reading about their product. I've also downloaded a test copy of Writer Pro. It is certainl cheaper to buy than anything of the kind I've ever had to purchase for Windows.

I've ot had time to test Writer yet, especially that I'm still very much learninghow to use my Macbook and Voiceover. Nisus have a Guide manual for their Writer Pro which you can also download.
Hope this helps.

With best wishes
