well, if there are a lot of them, you might actually be better off with column mode. a good thing is that if the folders don't change much, the first access of each will be the most painful.

KB: when i access with my windows machine it's not lightning speed but can usually find what i need to download in around a minute. when logging on to the same when using the Mac it gives me folders then when i vavigate to the contents it seems to lock up. i am in column mode if that makes a differens. tK: Depending on the number of items in any given folder, you're Mac can appear to freeze up although it really hasn't. It's just taking a little time to determine what items are in the folder and the various permissions. column mode is usually OK but you may wish to try it with Icon mode.
