Oh, that might be true about windows in a pc; I don't know as I haven't done 
that. But for both my Macosx and Windows installation on the mac, the 
bluetooth keyboard is excellent. The batteries last a long time btw; I 
almost never turn off my bluetooth keyboard and i use it a lot and the 
batteries usually last me a good six months. The wireless mouse, on the 
other hand, does burn batteries if you use it.
