when you install fusion and direct it to use the bootcamp partition as a vm, it is almost the same as booting directly into it but the process of creating the vm setup does something to the bootcamp partition. If you use the bootcamp partition for fusion, you are accessing the same partition whether you use bootcamp to boot or envoke it through fusion. I understand that when you install through fusion, the process is completely different than with bootcamp and the drive is all one.
even if you have two copies of windows, I don't know if you can use one as vm and the other with bootcamp. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Shaun Jones" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "General discussions on all topics relating to the use of Mac OS X by theblind" <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, January 04, 2008 4:36 PM Subject: Re: Boot Camp/Fusion Help needed please OK, so I can have Boot Camp running as a stand alone and Fusion will need it's own partition. Correct?
