From what I have read here, I got the impression that Apple, despite
the fact they are aware of this issue, is planning to submit a future
update to address this. I believe they realize the possibilities of
increased use of the iTunes music store in the BVI community, and
would do what they can to help us to beter take advantage of these
features, much the way they did for iTunes, itself. I would suggest

Hello Jason, Darcy and List:
Just to chime in on this, Apple is obviously ***VERY MUCH*** aware of
the problems with iTunes as is evident by the following quote from
page 73 of the "VoiceOver Getting Started Leopard 10.5.pdf" manual:
<quote>
Here are some tips for getting better results when you are using the
iTunes Store ONLINE:
- Use 1-click ordering instead of using the shopping cart. You may
need sighted
assistance to set it up.
- Search for shows using the built-in search rather than browsing.
- Purchase single songs; it may not be possible to purchase albums or
collections.
<end quote>
I am very surprised that Apple put these statements in a manual...
Might this mean that these problems are not going to be fixed any time
soon? I guess only time (and Apple) will tell.
Note: The first item, which suggests that sighted assistance may be
required, is (in my opinion) referring to the "review account info"
screen.

Hi Jason. Unfortunately you're not the first to experience this. The
problem is that VO doesn't work with the itunes store window. So when
you press the button to review your account, the infor for your
account does come up, but VoiceOver can't see it. I think some people
have managed to make this work under the windows version of itunes,
but I've not tried it myself. But so far as I know, the only way to
currently do this on the mac is to get some sighted assistance.

Hello everyone.
I'm sure I'm not the first one reporting this problem, and for this
I do apologize. I tried researching the issue, but couldn't find a
solution.
I have my Apple ID and want to sign into the iTunes store. iTunes
tells me that this ID has not yet been used with the iTunes store
and that I must review my account information before continuing. I
have clicked on the review button every way I know how, but all I
seem to get as a response is to be placed back in the main iTunes
window with the sources and song tables. Talk about frustrating. :-(
Any assistance is, of course, greatly appreciated.
Best regards,
