now scott come on good fellow
the new iMac systems to be honest are very stylish, very attractive but I
would say this. more USB and more expansion. but otherwise I'm buying a new
iMac 2.8 machine for work and the studio anyway. it complements my silver
goddess of a desk lol a 64 channel yamaha digi console in silver, my fantom x
and the V Synth so hey
but I can say this. the old macs like the older iMac G3 different coloured
versions, the G3 and G4 blue and white and silver models were gorgious then.
they really touch my heart and I miss them dearly. when you become attached
to apple because of design, practicality and ease of repair and upgrade you
just stick to it.
you give me any mac machine and I can fix her up or even mod it. as an
example a powermac G3 beige desktop with a 233mhz chip was modded to a g3 450
with
1gb ram. 300gb hard drive, zip drive swapped to a zip 750 and a DVD RW drive
running OS X 10.3. it was sold and the buyer who new macs well was shocked
at the upgrade.
