What exactly do you mean by none of the commands executing? What errors do 
you get? if you are saying this is the same problem as Macports ,please 
clarify what errors you had with Macports as it should work fine. I have it 
on both my ppc and my intel. If you can be specific about what errors you 
are getting, maybe somebody can find the problem. Are you getting errors or 
just no response that you can either hear when you hit enter or when you 
interact with the text?
