Hi David, No, you misunderstood. The original poster of this question had everything right to select multiple files, except that you need VO- Command-Space to select them. The process is as follows: Turn on Cursor tracking. Navigate to each item you want to select. Press VO-Command-Space on each item you want to select. That's how it works.
