Hi,
It's necessary for me to start this email with the fact that I'm a step behind Leopard, so if my advice is not applicable someone please feel free to update what is written.

1. After opening an email use VO keys+end to take you straight to the html content.
2. Use VO keys+shift+down-arrow to interact with the html text.
3. Using the up-arrow and down-arrow by themselves will take you line-by-line. 4. The left and right arrows by themselves will take you letter by letter. 5. Using command with the arrow keys takes you to the extreme of that direction. 6. Using the option key with the left and right arrows takes you word-by-word. 7. Using shift with arrow keys by themselves, or along with modifier keys, highlights the text you are going over.

Note.
If you highlight text in order to write something else in its place pressing the delete key first is not necessary. Simply start typing and the highlighted text will be replaced.
Take care,
Cheryl E.
