any way to reinstall ichat

Hey guys, i have no idea what ahppened but it is really bothering me.   
Is there any way to re-install ichat?  I can get to account  
preferences, but that's it.  I can see nothig else, no buddy list, no  
nothing.  When i go vo right and left arrow, it just dings.
