If you want to speed up the navigation in the instance where you are on the ninth episode in the folder, you could reverse sort on the Release Date Column for the podcast, Then you would only need to arrow up two steps to reach the folder level to collapse it. You can also use the reverse sort on the Release Date Column to quickly reach/examine the latest podcasts in your folder before you start arrowing down from the podcast folder level.
For example, interact on the folder and VO-keys+backslash to open the folder. Then before arrowing down, VO-keys+right arrow three times (to Name, Time, then Release Date). VO-keys shift+backslash to reverse sort order on the column (assuming it was already selected for sort). Arrow down to check episode 10 and next episode 9. Arrow up again to reach the folder level. VO-keys+shift+backslash to reorder in ascending release date (if you prefer to keep it that way) and VO-keys+backslash to close the folder. It would be handy to have a navigation sequence to take you to the next nearest folder, but I don't know of any such keyboard shortcut.
