I use the opticbook 3600, and I've been on the plustek website to get newer drivers. I didn't see any drivers for the Mac, just for various flavors of windows. Its a realy god scanner, but unless they hide the Mac driers somewhere other than the main page where you go to get other downloads, I don't think it works with a Mac.
The different models have to do with different bundles of software. there is just the one 3600 scanner. You were not talking about other Plustek models, I assume, just the fact that there are variants of the 3600 listed. those are strictly software differences. mary
