Hello Lewis and List!

My information regarding the availability of outSPOKEN 9.2 for Macintosh is accurate... ALthough it is not something that they advertise or promote since the product is out of production and, therefore, not sitting on their shelves... Someone will have to put it together for you which means that it may take a few days before it ships after you place an order. If you are need of this product, contact Vision Cue and direct your request to Larry.

I understand that shipping may be expensive if you are not in the USA... And, you may not want to purchase an old, no longer supported product for US$195+... I am just pointing out that it *IS* available if you need it.

Hello Lewis and List!

FYI:

outSPOKEN for Macintosh with MacBraille, version 9.2

remains available from our good friends at:
Vision Cue
(888) 318-2582
http://www.visioncue.com

for $195.00 plus shipping.

This was the last version of outSPOKEN released by ALVA and will run
under Mac OS 9.2.2. You may also use an ALVA Satellite Braille Display
with this version.
Since the product has been out of development for a long time, the
only technical support available would be from yours truly... And,
since I just shredded (ironically, yesterday) all the work Macs from
those days long ago, the support will depend upon my rapidly
deteriorating memory :-) .

Disclaimer: I am not employed by Vision Cue, but (as some of you may
know) I go way back with outSPOKEN, ALVA and Berkeley Access.

I hope this helps...

Lou.
