Hello comments below
OK let me try and be a bit more precise. when i am on the blind
cool tech site and have tabbed to the appropriate podcast link i
wish to download i highlight it
How do you highlight it. We don't highlight links to bring up context
menus.
and then with VO plus F5 bring the mouse to it. If you only press
vo f5 that is your problem. Vo f5 tells you where the mouse is.
Maybe you meant vo cmd f5 to route the mouse.
Another problem that may not be entirely obvious to you is if this is
a multilined link, sometimes the vo cursor does not move the mouse
perfectly over it. Try to imagine this, You have the first line of
text that is about 10 cm long, and then you have the next line below
which is only about 5 cm long. So there is this square of space.
When you move the vo cursor over it, it does not contour to the shape
of the link and instead makes a rectangle, with a blank space in the
bottom right quadrant where the second line of the link fails to
reach. When you rout the mouse, it moves to the bottom right
quadrant, where there is no link. So when you bring up context menu,
you may only get the basic options like "cut" "paste" etc, but nothing
to do with a link.
Perhaps if you press vo f5 after routing the mouse to make sure it
says the link. Also you might after routing the mouse, try to move it
slightly up and to the right on the mouse pad. Maybe if you do it
slowly, and then press cmd f5 as you go, it should tell you when the
link is under the mouse
then i press CTRL plus mouse button to attempt to bring up a
contextual menu, unfortunately this didn't have the desired affect
and i am unable to download any of the podcasts.. if i just click on
them as normal so to speak then they open and play but this isn't
what i require as i wish to put them on a portable player.
sorry again for keeping this going but i would like to sort this out.
thanks
Keith
