Greetings, I'm wondering if someone could help me figure out how to select audio segments in Sound Studio? The only way I've found to do this is to set markers and then under edit, choose set selection. From there, I can tell it to use my markers as the beginning and end points. This is problematic as it's hard to fine tune the marker positions, so if it's messed up, it has to be done from the beginning. According to the help, it's possible to move the cursor with the arrow keys, but I'm not getting this to do anything -- it may be doing something visually, but it's not effecting my playback. My understanding, according to the help, is that I can use shift in conjunction with the arrow keys to make a selection, however, if I'm not sure where the cursor is, the shift arrow keys aren't much use. Is there a way to make the cursor follow the play head, so that a selection can be made while playing the file? I'm posting this to both Mac Visionaries and the new mac audio list, so apologize to those of you who are getting this in duplicate.

Thanks for any help/tips,

Steve
