it didn't do that for me. i had to get it from mac update. i couldn't
find the list of new things. what's been improved?

if you already have skype installed. just go to the skype menu and
go to check for updates. it will tell you then to update etc. so
update it and then when its finished relaunch the application. new
functions and enhancements are included
