Hi Gordon,

You can use stuffit expander. I'm going to point you to the ftp site for the
original product:

ftp://ftp.allume.com/pub/pub/mac/Stuffit/For_MacOS_10.4-10.5/stuffit_exp_1201_install.dmg

This seems to be working, and should give you a disk image file. According
to comments on the versiontracker site, "free" versions that you get from the
new company, Smith Micro, that bought this product may stop working after
30 days. This wasn't true of the downloads from Allume, so I'm hoping the old
installs will work for you.

If you that doesn't work, you can access the new site through the Apple notice:

http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/system_disk_utilities/stuffitexpander.html

You'll have to register with Smith Micro and go to their download site.
Once you've run the installer you can eject the .dmg file from the finder
sidebar and send it to the trash.

HTH.

Cheers,

Esther
