Was mentioned before but basically it attempts to enable QuickTime to handle Windows Media format. Only limitation seems to be content with DRM restrictions. With QT as the default media player on the Mac it makes sense to just integrate the WM codecs into it rather than have a separate player. At least that's Microsoft's argument for dropping Windows Media Player for the mac.

Hi Olivia, I just tried this and it works for me. I clicked on Listen Live, using VO space, and it brought up the stream in safari.

I have Flip for Mac installed, so this might be the diff, I don't know.

Hi Everyone,
There is another web site that I have a question about:
http://www.kiisfm.com
This is a radio station which offers an online listening feature. I am able to do this using a windows machine, but can't make it work on my mac. Clicking on the Listen Live link doesn't redirect me as it would on a windows machine.
Is there a fix for this? Does the mac work with other online streams?
As always, thanks so much for your help!
Olivia
