Hi
Typically, the iPod's software is updated via iTunes. In the iPod
settings area, under the summary tab, it should tell you whether your
software is up to date or not and if not there'll be an update button
there. Note that you need to have gotten through the iPod
initialization screens which aren't readable with VO as of yet, though
you can use iTunes under windows to get around these if you haven't
done so already.
