Chris, out of curiosity, do you by chance, know if there's a way to
show a containing folder or location of a highlighted file in
SpotLight? Incidentally, SL is one of my *VERY* fav features of OSX!

the spotlight search and drop your focus on the entry field. As you
type it will display results and then you can arrow down through the
results. Hitting return will open the file with the default
application for that file type.
