YOu can't upload via ftp through the Finder outside of your network
from what I know of it. YOu need a secondary ftp client.
I find this restriction really kind of needlessly annoying, and I
believe you can read about it in Mac help.
Have an awesome day and best of luck!…

Hi Will,
I tried the same thing last night funnily enough, and also had no
joy with the finder. I could login ok and view the contents of
directories, but couldn't seem to upload anything. Have you got to
the same point?
Does anyone know why I might be unable to upload from the finder?
i'm sure i've seen this work before but not tried since Tiger.
Cheers...
