Why does this keep happening?

Listers I keep trying to burn CD's and the disc drive continues to  
spit out my disc. I opened a new pack of CDR's and everyone I have  
tried gets spit out. What do I need to try? It will not burn  
audible.com books, MP3 files or AAC audio files. What's the deal?
