I'm sure we're both using Leopard.  I know I am, and my friend
recently got her Macbook as well, so I'm assuming it's the same there.
 I actually was able to just update and install once, but as I said, I
do know what she's referring to.  As for the first suggestion, no.
I've never even heard of that.  I'm going to try and update now and
see what happens.  I hope the new Safari comes in this package if it
really is that good.
