ACtually there are encoders / decoders for Windows for these file
types so you don't necessarily need to convert these to play them on
other computers. I'm assuming as Greg says though, that you most
likely will for CD players. However, the M4A format is fast becoming
quite a bit more popular as they sound better, so perhaps that will be
changing soon?…
