Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone could help me. I'm still looking for a Greek
synthesizer for the Mac. I do intend on contacting Assistiveware and
probably will do so within the next few days if not sooner. In the
meantime, I have a request for anyone who's familiar with Unix and
apple scripting. Do you think it would be possible for you to try and
install the ESpeak synthesizer
http://espeak.sourceforge.net/
either on a virtual machine or for real, and try it out in the Unix
that runs under Leopard? I'm guessing it'll work under Unix, since I
know it works under Linux. I'd say try it with Leopard, but I hear it
messes up VoiceOver. If not, it may be possible to make ESpeak work
with VO, perhaps through Apple scripting or something. The only
systems I've used are various forms of Windows, MS DOS and now
Leopard. So that's why I need your help. Any would be sincerely
appreciated. I wrote twice to the maker of ESpeak, but he never got
back to me, and I really really need a Greek synth for this machine.

Thanks,
Tiffanitsa
