Hi David.

Sure. Here's a link that will bring up a rather large document with plenty of anchor elements from which to choose.

Thanks.

Hi Jason,

do you have a link you can send so I can check this. I think it works for some and not for othes and I want to be sure of the steps before I post. It
is similar to the on mouse over senario.

Thanks, David. I'll try the item chooser. That keeps slipping my
mind as a possible alternative. :-) In the meantime, what is the
method used for anchors?

Hi Jason,

There is a way to use anchors but you might do better by using the
item
chooser to get where you want to go because anchors don't always work.

Subject: Links to anchors on the same page

Hello all.

I have noticed that, when attempting to activate a link that should
jump me to a given section of the same page, nothing seems to happen.
For example, if I'm viewing a large HTML document and am looking at
the table of contents which has links to each chapter, I am unable to
jump to chapter 2. I can see it in the table of contents and if I
scroll down far enough, I'll find that actual section for that
chapter, but the link from the table of contents doesn't work.

I hope I have explained this clearly enough. Has anyone else run into
this problem? Have you found a way around it?

Thanks for any and all assistance.

Best regards,
