You will need sighted assistance to get Trixbox installed, and once it is up
and running all the administration features can be accessed via a web
interface from Safari.

Hi,
First off, Shoutcast is a streaming package, rather than a PBX solution.
If streaming is your thing, then you can compile Icecast on the Mac
(www.icecast.org) which is an open source Shoutcast replacement.
You will want to install Xcode tools off your Leopard DVD in order to
have all the necessary compilers and stuff available.
Of course the easiest way to build Icecast on the Mac is with DarwinPorts
http://darwinports.com/ which is a little like the ports system available
on the BSD's.
Now back to your original question about a PBX on the Mac, yes Asterisk
will work on the Mac and again DarwinPorts is your best source for
getting that to happen.
If you aren't used to UNIX administration though, you might find
Asterisk's configuration a little tedious however, you'll probably want
to get your hands on a good book about how to set Asterisk up.
An easier solution might be to use something like TrixBox
(www.trixbox.org) inside Fusion.
TrixBox is a ready-to-run Linux distribution with Asterisk already set up
for you.
I hope this helps.
Cheers,
Mitch
