If you are that worried about it, you can use the mac firewall, or
there are plenty of off the shelf products that you can buy from
respected vendors. If you are part of an institution that requires
some security protection, use Filevault and Knox. This is what I
normally use because of my institution's requirements. I do use the
computer for some personal banking, so that is why I use such heavy
