a question regarding tracking

hi there;
what do you all have your settings in the voiceover menu set in  
regards to tracking and cursers? just curious, it's well, lets just  
say that i need to fix my settings and want to see what yours are set  
to.
also, darcy and holly mentioned something whilst they were showing us  
how to use sound studio in regards to stop curser tracking with a  
keystroke. Do you guys know what they did and how this might help me  
in other applications aside from sound edit?
