You will need to buy and external flash card reader. Any Walmart will
have one I have had good luck with the SanDisk model.

I use flashcards myself. I often translate files using Louis onthe
Mac and transfer them to theBrailleNote for later reading. Very
useful, that. In fact, that is what I did for a project I am working
on--have to edit a monstorous document, and wanted to really "see"
it,
so translated it into Braille, and now I will make my edits. Yay!
The only problem will be ... inserting those edits into the print
text
without losing formatting. Maybe extra work this way, but who knows?
It may work out OK.

Yes. You can use either a network connection via a pcmcia wireless
card or
ethernet, or I believe the newer BrailleNotes have bluetooth, which
is also
an option. And don't forget the compact flash cards. That can be an
option
as well, just whatever you wanna do I guess.
