I will be creating another network for the express and joining it with the Lynksys using the Lynksys as a bridge to the Express. I would basically use the Lynksys to transfer the IP addresses to the Express.

I do not know, but believe you could not use the Express to extend
your Linksys router. Now again, I don't know this for sure so you'd
have to try it, I'm just not sure and suspect it may not be possible.
The issue is the AirPort utility will not see the Linksys router and
that may also make it difficult for the Linksys router to act as the
"base station" in this type of network configuration.

Is the express wireless or does it have any ports. I wanted to
connect it to my Lynksys network and be able to get a N signal with
my Mac and have my PC's and TIVO on the B/G routter using the
express. Can this be done?

The Extreme has additional lan ports, as well as some additional
features. It's um more a professional type router, but the Express
is no slowtch. The Express is very small, compact,
So the Express has no LAN ports? It's totally wireless? So, how
do you set up the Express as an extender?
