Hi Michael. Basically all you need are three automator actions. Get
contents of text edit document, text to audio, and import audio
files. You need to have the text file you want converted open in text
edit. The work flow gets the text, converts that in to speech, and
then imports that audio file in to itunes.
I don't know if you've used automator or not, but it's very easy to
get started. In automator you create a workflow, which is nothing
more then a sequence of steps or actions. The output of the first
action, is the input of the second action, and so on.
Hope this makes sense.

is a way i can have peter read a .txt file into an mp3 file or
something? I want to try some testing before i try a few other
things. Is there a way to do this auto or will i have to here the
txt file every time it records it?
