Josh, I've been using Amadeus pro for a while now and really like it. There are a few little tricks that can make the program work a bit better i.e. turning off cursor tracking while editing a sound, but for the most part, almost everything is accessible. In addition, the author has responded favorably to me and to others on the topic of accessibility. Amadeus Pro contains a number of keyboard shortcuts, many of which are definable to make editing easier. one of the features I personally like is that I can move the left hand selection of a segment by small increments -- great for those times when you start selecting just a tiny bit too late. Finally, Amadeus Pro has a fantastic batch conversion utility which can not only be used to convert between file formats, but can perform batch edits on the files i.e. if you need to normalize a bunch of files, add a segment to the beginning of a bunch of files, etc.... IMO, Amadeus Pro is definitely worth a look.

If anyone has used this, how accessible is this program with VoiceOver? What advantages does it have over similar programs that work with VO? Thanks. :)

Dear all, version 1.3 of Amadeus Pro can now be downloaded from

http://www.hairersoft.com/AmadeusPro/AmadeusProDownload.html

or by using Amadeus Pro's built in update function (in the preferences).
Version 1.3 introduces the following improvements:

- Improved quality of the "Change Pitch and Speed" function
- Supports factory presets for Audio Units
- Uses the latest version of mpg123 for reading Mp3 files
- Supports custom "Genre" tags
- Shows selection in the timescale (toggled with the 'h' shortcut)
- Adds a "Zoom to Document" menu item
- Adds 'g' shortcut for toggling display of sound grid
- Adds a "Reverse" and a "Trim Silence" function to the batch processor
- No longer crashes when trying to save too large AIFF or WAVE files

It also fixes various little quirks and bugs. Version 1.3 is a free upgrade for all registered Amadeus Pro users. Enjoy!

Martin
