for example:
mike, "hay there gin, how are you doing tonight?"
narator, mike looked around the room, taking in all the pictures on
the wall, the layout of the house, and everything in site. He knew he
may have had to make a quick get away.
gin, "Not bad mike, what are you thinking?"
something like that?
